Supermarine RFC goes to Poland!
There’s been no talk of tour this year so I’m putting this on the table.
I propose we spend a long weekend in Warsaw, Poland because it’s cheap to get to
and drinking/eating (which is by far the biggest cost) will cost half the price it does in the UK.
The flights and accommodation I’ve researched are competitive with anything we’ll find here.
I’ve spent a weekend over there on a stag do and it was amazing,
great pubs clubs etc! I have a contact at an expat rugby club out there
(Warsaw Frogs RFC, http://www.frogsco.pl/) who are ready to sort us games
and associated hospitality.
I think it would be a top way to celebrate our winning the league…and see somewhere a bit different!
I’d like to get the arrangements organised and paid for before Christmas – that way its all sorted and I don’t have to try and chase you for money in the new year – it will cost us less as well.
The plan would be to fly out early on the Friday (flying early makes the air fare cheaper) – the deals I’ve found will allow us to stay at the minimum 3* hotel in Warsaw (may even include breakfast). The cost is looking to be around £150pp based on 2/4 players sharing a hotel room including British Airways return flights from Heathrow – we get back Monday evening.
